Seasonal services

Winter

The Student Welfare Committee distributes calendars to freshmen who are not familiar with the academic schedule. It is done so that students can adjust to the school system quicker.

A necessity in an engineering school, calculator! Buy it cheap! As a soccer player would need soccer shoes, KAISTians always need a calculator. Buy it before you start the semester.

Spring

We run a book market so that you can easily sell and buy second-hand books after the semester ends.

When the warm wind blows in KAIST during spring, KAIST has a strawberry party!! For your happy campus life, the Student Welfare Committee sells delicious strawberries at a cheap price.

The Student Welfare Committee group purchases letterman jackets and hoodies/stadium parkas every year. The letterman jackets are ordered in Feb~March with the start of the semester and distributed on March. Many students wear the letterman jackets, hoodies and parkas, so we always try to come up with a good design and reasonable price.

The postal delivery service is done so that students can move their belongings easier at the end of the semester. The Student Welfare Committee, with a contract with a postal delivery company, runs the service in consign management and delivers student opinion to the company. Unlike individual visiting delivery service, the parcel is picked up in the dormitory, so it was much more convenient.

Every semester, the contract is renewed with a 1-year cycle and the company visits the main campus, Munji Campus and the Hwaam Campus to collect parcel from most dormitories. The price is similar to that of visiting delivery service and boxes, tape, bubble wrap are sold in front of the dormitory.
